Conduct a Public Hearing and discuss and consider approval of an Ordinance amending the Zoning and Zoning Map of the City of Ennis, Texas, from A - Agricultural to PD - Planned Development (PD-ZAXA-24-6) for an approximately 131.60 acre tract of land situated in the David Rose Survey, Abstract No. 905, City of Ennis, Ellis County, Texas, Ellis CAD IDs 189954 and 191069. THIS ITEM WAS PRESENTED OCTOBER 15, 2024 AND TABLED TO NOVEMBER 6, 2024.
I.1. Discuss and provide direction to staff regarding the adoption of Impact Fees for Development.
I.2. Discuss and consider approval of a Resolution authorizing the Mayor to accept from the State of Texas, Commission on State Emergency Communications, Proposition 8 Next Generation 911 Service Fund, a statutory distribution in the amount of one hundred, twenty thousand, six hundred eighty-three dollars and seventy one cents ($120,683.71), plus allowable interest, on behalf of the Ennis Police Department Emergency Communications Center, City of Ennis 911, for Next Generation 911 infrastructure improvements.
I.3. Discuss and consider approval of a Resolution authorizing the Mayor to accept from the State of Texas, Commission on State Emergency Communications, Texas 9-1-1 Entity Subrecipient Subaward Next Generation 911 Service Fund, a reimbursement grant in an amount not to exceed eight hundred thirty-nine thousand, twenty-seven dollars and twenty-seven cents ($839,027.27) on behalf of the Ennis Police Department Emergency Communications Center, City of Ennis 911, for Next Generation 911 infrastructure improvements.
I.4. Discuss and Consider an Ordinance Amending the FY 2025 Budget to provide a supplemental appropriation to the General Capital Projects Fund in the amount of $959,711 for the Police Department Next Generation 9-1-1 Grant Project.
I.5. Discuss and consider appointments to the Planning and Zoning Commission to fill a vacancy for a term expiring 7/31/2025
