Conduct a public hearing and discuss and consider action on an ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Ennis, Texas, accepting and approving a Service and Assessment Plan and Assessment Roll for the Prairieview Public Improvement District; making a finding of special benefit to the property in the District; levying special assessments against property within the District and establishing a lien on such property; providing for the method of assessment and the payment of the assessments in accordance with Chapter 372, Texas Local Government Code, as amended, providing penalties and interest on delinquent assessments, providing for severability; and providing an effective date.

Conduct a Public Hearing and discuss and consider approval of an Ordinance amending the Zoning Map of the City of Ennis, Texas, from A – Agricultural to L-IM – Light Industrial and Manufacturing for an approximately 118.0915 acre lot, tract or parcel of land located at the southeast corner of US-287 and S Oak Grove Road in the City of Ennis, Ellis County, Texas. Discuss and consider an Ordinance Annexing the hereinafter described territory known as being a portion of Ellis CAD ID 185462, generally located at the northwest corner of US Highway 287 and Interstate 45; and being an approximate 48.822 acre tract of land situated in the W. Dixon Survey, Abstract 308, and in the C. Holmead Survey, Abstract 497, Ellis County, Texas; and the proposed annexation of that portion of North Old Alma Road adjacent to said territory and extending the boundary l imits of the City so as to include the described property.
